    Conserving Wildlife and Culture in Guyana, the Land of the Giants

    Come join Alyssa Melville, Indigenous Environmental Educator with the South Rupununi Conservation Society (SRCS) in Guyana, South America. Visitors will learn about the fascinating wildlife and global diversity of Guyana, and why it has come to be known as the "Land of the Giants". Alyssa will also speak about the SRCS biodiversity conservation and cultural preservation of the Rupununi, showcase local crafts, and discuss how the Field Museum's Keller Science Action Center is working to strengthen conservation capacities in Chicago and Guyana.
