Fieldiana is a peer-reviewed monographic series published by the Field Museum of Natural History. Fieldiana focuses on mid-length monographs pertaining to collections and research at Field Museum. The two series pertain to subject matter in the fields of Anthropology, and in Life and Earth Sciences (Botany, Geology, and Zoology). The Field Museum of Natural History publishes Fieldiana in two series: Fieldiana Anthropology and Fieldiana Life and Earth Sciences.

The current research focus at the Center is on presolar grains to understand our parent stars and the history of our Galaxy, and on the delivery history of extraterrestrial matter to Earth through the study of fossil meteorites and micrometeorites found in sediments, and terrestrial impact craters. We also study extraterrestrial samples returned to Earth by the NASA mission Stardust.
