Exhibition ran from Feb 12 2010—Jan 3, 2011. Explore a millennia-old Chinese art form: the rubbing. Created by pressing thin sheets of wet paper into carvings in stone and inking the surface to form an impression, rubbings perform a range of functions from sharing famous works of literature to preserving images of the deceased. Featuring two-dozen examples, selected from over 7,000 items in The Field Museum’s collections, discover the artistry and intricacy of Chinese rubbings.

Exhibition ran from Feb 13 2009 - Jul 5 2009. A rich array of jewelry from the ancient Near East was presented in this exhibition, some objects more than 7,000 years old, illuminating the culture and customs of ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Levant, Persia and the Islamic Middle East. In addition to the breathtaking jewelry, the exhibition featured maps and illustrations that place the jewelry in historical and cultural context.

Twenty-eight of Fuertes' paintings and sketches, along with photographs, news articles and film footage from the Museum's Library were also on display.
