Malacologia is available on line, with volumes 1 (1962) to 48 (2006) freely accessible via the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL; a consortium of natural history and botanical libraries that cooperate to digitize and make accessible the legacy literature of biodiversity held in their collections), and most recent numbers obtainable from BioOne, a global not-for-profit collaboration of scientific publishers and libraries:

BHL (www.biodiversitylibrary.org):  Malacologia grants open access to electronic copies of all pre-2007 volumes, which can be read and downloaded at http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/bibliography/12920.

BioOne (www.bioone.org):  Malacologia is part of the BioOne.2 collection of scientific journals.  Access is available to institutions and consortia holding BioOne subscriptions (see the BioOne web site for details).  In addition, subscribers to the Malacologia print edition are given access to this journal on BioOne. To be granted such individual access, contact the subscription office.
