NAMA Voucher Collection
The diversity and distribution of mushrooms and other macrofungi intrigue both amateur mushroom hunters and professional mycologists. For over 40 years the North American Mycological Association (NAMA) has sponsored forays that have recorded species occurrence across this continent.
The dataset contains images and data for fungi collected across America at the annual North American Mycological Association forays.
This online database contains collection data and images for the forays of 1997 to present and will be updated yearly on this Field Museum website.
The database's Herbarium field gives the location of each voucher specimen. The acronym F indicates Field Museum Botany Herbarium.
