Regenstein Intern
Year Started:
2011
Introduction:
This summer I am working in the Pacific Collections of the Anthropology Department at the Field Museum. I am assisting Chris Philipp, the Regenstein collections manager, in organizing, housing, and digitizing the vast collection.
I discovered my passion for anthropology when I was a freshman at Northwestern University. I have loved natural history museums since I was little. I am about to enter my senior year, and, thanks to this internship, have found a way to combine these two passions. When I graduate I hope to continue studying anthropology within a museum setting.
Education:
I am about to enter my senior year at Northwestern University where I study biological anthropology.
