Vertebrate Network (VertNet) blogs...

Information from our collections is used in many ways, both here in the museum, nationally and internationally.

One project that our vertebrate Zoologists are part of is the VertNet community. This is a data network that allows scientists from anywhere in the world access to primary collections data about anything with a backbone, from a single place - your computer. This is important because it allows researchers to check what we have without having to fly all the way here!

If you want to find out what VertNet is up to check out their new blog.
