Introduction:

I'm a Senior...well at least I'm about to be one at New Trier High School in Winnetka. Science has been my passion ever since I learned what it was in sixth grade. I've always joked that if I could, I would take every single science and math course possible, and just leave out all the social studies and english. When I tell my friends that I want to be a researcher I usually get a scoff or a chuckle, but that has never held me back. This internship is a dream come true and I'll be working on a Pathogens Project with Kit McDonnell (high school student) and Evan Martin (high school teacher); our part being identifying Malaria in North Peruvian tanangers.
