RAPC Internship: Data Cleaning for the Physical Geology Collection

2012 High School Summer Internship

Project Description: Data management is fundamental to the proper care and tracking of a museum collection.  The Field Museum has over 45,000 specimens in the physical geology/meteorite collections.  This internship will focus on the consolidation, maintenance and correction of data.  The intern should be able to work very carefully and be detailed oriented; strong computer and database skills are desirable.
