Lauren Johnson is the Assistant Collections Manager of Mammals whose work examines the intersection of science and art. She has worked in a variety of collections and currently cares for the extensive repository of mammal specimens behind the scenes of the Field Museum. Johnson has always loved nature and creating artwork that illustrates the beauty of anatomy. She has an in-depth knowledge of data management, digitization, specimen preparation, and museum education.
