Samantha Chapleau works as the School Partnership Educator at the Field Museum in Chicago. As part of this three-year program supported by the Cyrus Tang Foundation, Sam co-creates learning resources and experiences with AANHPI communities in order to help educators meet the requirements of the TEAACH Act. She has 17 years classroom experience and has worked as an English and Spanish (and occasionally choir) teacher in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana areas. Sam is passionate about fostering partnerships with community and is known for utilizing drama in the classroom and creating engaging, interdisciplinary student-centered learning experiences. She has a B.A. in English Education and Spanish (Saint Xavier University), an M.A. in English (Middlebury College), and Museum Studies certification (Northwestern University).
