The Digital Learning Internship selects 15 high school students from Chicagoland to be scientists for the summer. We introduce them to researchers and museum experts from across the Field Museum and they choose one to work with on a 5-week research project.
Teen interns will learn a wide variety of technology and digital media skills throughout the summer to support their research project, and they will participate in professional development to ensure that they can capitalize on the skills that they develop across the summer.
This paid internship will begin at the end of June and will conclude at the beginning of August. Teens who are selected as interns will be expected to work at the Field Museum on a regular schedule from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Teens will be paid $16.50 per hour.
