About this event
Join us in person at the Field Museum for a professional learning experience and art workshop in partnership with the HANA Center.
Alongside Aram Han Sifuentes, artist and professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Hye Seon Park of the HANA Center, we will create and learn about the history and present-day cultural significance of nonggi -- Korean folk banners. Explore with us how art forms like nonggi help communities reclaim their stories and express hopes and dreams for the future.
Registration is open to formal and informal educators of all levels. Illinois Educators will earn 4 hours of Professional Development for attending this workshop.
