Celebrate and support the Field Museum at our annual Gala!

Celebrate the Field Museum’s enduring legacy and evolving future. Join us for an unforgettable night of dynamic science with Field experts, exploring the rich history and latest innovations happening at your Museum.

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Field Museum held its annual fundraising celebration, hosted by the Women's Board and Board of Trustees.

  • The evening included the presentation of the Marshall Field V Award for Distinguished Leadership to the Searl Family. This award is given in recognition of exceptional commitment and support of the Museum.
  • This year, the Field Museum also honored Abbott with the Corporate Philanthropy Award in recognition of the firm’s extraordinary leadership and dedication to the Field over many years. Chairman and CEO Robert Ford accepted the award on behalf of Abbott.

The Gala is the Field’s single most important fundraiser, raising more than $2 million in support for annual programs. Proceeds support the Field Museum’s groundbreaking research, conservation, and education programs in Chicago and around the world.
