About this event
Last call to see Cats: Predators to Pets before it slips through your paws! Join us for an evening at the Field Museum, where the captivating world of cats takes center stage. During this exclusive, adults-only after-hours event, we’ll explore the fascinating evolution of these sleek, mysterious creatures. From fierce predators to beloved pets, cats have played a significant role in human culture and the natural world.
Engage with Field Museum scientists to unleash your curiosity, participate in paws-on activities, create a souvenir wine glass charm to take home, and receive after-hours access to the Cats: Predators to Pets exhibition before it closes. Finally, get up close and purrr-sonal with cats from the Anti-Cruelty River North Adoption Center along with Exhibition Sponson, World’s Best Cat Litter®, at our Cat Café. Cats currently available for adoption will be on site to pet, cuddle and play with. Entry to the Cat Café area of the event will be timed to allow as many individuals to engage with the cats as possible.
Whether you’re a cat enthusiast, an animal lover, or simply looking for a fun and educational night out, Last Call - Cats: Predators to Pets promises to be a paw-some experience.
Tickets include hors d’oeuvres and an open bar of beer, wine and our specialty cocktails. Come for the cats, stay for the cocktails, and leave with a new appreciation for one of nature’s most fascinating and iconic creatures.
