About this event

This live event is the perfect companion to the Cats: Predators to Pets exhibition.

Calling all cat lovers! Complementing the Field Museum's current exhibition Cats: Predators to Pets, you are invited to discover the wild cats of the world, particularly the smallest species, with Sandesh Kadur. Kadur is a National Geographic Fellow who uses the power of filmmaking for wildlife conservation.

Many of the big cats around the world are easily recognizable and thoroughly documented, but photographer and filmmaker Sandesh Kadur is on a mission to highlight his home country's lesser-known felines to help protect their future. With landscapes spanning the towering Himalaya mountains, arid plains, and dense jungles, India is home to an unmatched diversity of wild cats.

Wild Cats Revealed is the perfect companion to the exhibition Cats: Predators to Pets, which highlights the characteristics of cats, big and small.
