    About this event

Drop in to the Crown Family PlayLab for free weekly activities for 2-6 year olds!

For this week's PlayLab PlayDate, families with 2-6 year olds are invited to a free, drop-in storytime session celebrating the opening of the Chicago Archaeopteryx's new home in the Griffin Halls of Evolving Planet. Join us in the PlayLab for this special storytime session, where we'll learn about archaeopteryx and why the Chicago fossil changed the world. Afterwards, stay and play with us as we make our own pair of archaeopteryx wings that you can use to explore the museum.

PlayLab PlayDates are free to museum guests, don’t require pre-registration, and take place on IL Resident Free Days!

For more information, please see the PlayLab Programs FAQs. Still have questions? Contact the PlayLab team at playlabevents@fieldmuseum.org.
