About this event

Drop in to the Crown Family PlayLab for free weekly activities for 2-6 year olds!

For this week's PlayLab PlayDate, families with 2-6 year olds are invited to a free, drop-in storytime session hosted by the Chicago Public Library (CPL). The Lunar New Year is celebrated in many countries around the world, and this year the holiday falls on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025. In China, 2025 is the Year of the Snake! During this interactive storytime, guest readers from CPL will read stories celebrating the Lunar New Year and the many cultural traditions associated with the holiday around the world. Join us for a fun-filled PlayDate with stories, songs and more!

PlayLab PlayDates are free to museum guests, don’t require pre-registration, and take place on IL Resident Free Days!
