That’s My Cat! Photo Contest

Open your camera roll and start scrolling: we need YOUR picture purr-fect cat pictures for our special exhibition—Cats: Predators to Pets.

Each month while Cats is open, you can submit themed images of your domestic companions in a contest to appear alongside some of their wild relatives in our exhibition gallery.

After our panel of judges narrows the field to ten feline finalists to appear on the wall of our natural hiss-tory we’ll leave it up to our fans to select three cats to be crowned that month’s winners (they’ll also bring home four All-Access Passes to the museum for their human—you—to visit their meow-numental achievement at the Field)!

March: In Like a Lion

Crash, bang, cat chaos— start March LOUDLY with your camera roll’s best 3 AM zoomies, broken blinds, and any other disruption that probably took one of those nine lives.

Is your cat lacking in lion-like behavior? Any and all super-fierce-or-ferocious-looking felines are welcome.

Meet our Winners!

If I fits, I sits

Felines defy the laws of physics. You showed us your pets shrinking, folding, expanding, and turning into liquid to get where they wanted to do (put probably shouldn’t have).

December

Cats Wrapped

You shared images of your furry friend dressed in their holiday best (fits from festivities throughout the calendar year welcome) or on their worst behavior (RIP to those delicate decorations on the bottom shelf).

January

Blep, Boop, Mlem

Bring out those outtakes so awkward they’re adorable: stuck-out tongues, weird stretches, and too-close-to-camera poses.
