John Terrell has been on the staff at Field Museum since September 2, 1971. Widely recognized as an authority on the prehistory of the Pacific Islands, he is currently focusing his efforts on integrating anthropology, evolutionary biology, and neuroscience to develop a comprehensive understand of human social networks and niche construction.
