Summer Camps and Programs

Foster a love of science and exploration all summer long.

Registration for all Field Explorer Camps is now closed. We'll have updates in early 2026 for next summer!

Spend the summer making discoveries at the Field Museum! Field Explorers Summer Camps are perfect for curious minds in grades K-8. Campers get the chance to join museum experts and scientists on guided explorations of the museum’s exhibitions and collections to find answers to their own scientific questions.

What Will Campers Do?

Campers will have the opportunity to engage with the natural and human worlds through tailored learning experiences and up-close encounters with our collections. Learn what happens behind-the-scenes, connect with Museum experts, investigate using real scientific tools, and discover stories that only the Field Museum can tell.

Health & Safety Information

In order to improve the collection and management of personal information, the Field Museum is partnering with CampDoc.com. CampDoc is a secure and easy-to-use web-based solution for managing health forms, allergies, medications, and contact information. Only Museum Camps administrative staff and instructors will have access to camper health information, and the CampDoc.com site is secure, encrypted, and password protected.

Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email from register@campdoc.com. All forms will need to be completed 1 month before your camp begins.
