Photos from the First and Second Rawson-MacMillan Subarctic Expeditions, 1926-1928: Baffin Island, Greenland, Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Maine.
This album contains photos taken during two expeditions to explore and to collect geological, zoological, botanical, and anthropological specimens for The Field Museum. The photographs include images of expedition members, Inuit and Innu people, landscapes, seascapes, geographical features, and wildlife. In many cases, there is information associated with the images including the names of people and places. We would welcome additional information about the photos including more detailed descriptions, biographical data, and comments. We hope that this Flickr page will provide many people, especially those in Labrador, with access to these photos.
