If you are interested in learning more about eggs, check out The Book of Eggs.  This 2014 University of Chicago Press book written by Dr. Mark Hauber of Hunter College, New York and edited by Associate Curator John Bates and Field Associate Barbara Becker includes text about and photos of the eggs of 600 bird species from around the world.  The photos were taken by museum photographer John Weinstein and most of the specimens are from the Field Museum's egg collection.
